How this blog came to be...

My name is Mom. I am writing these blog entries on behalf of my son, "J". My son was inspired to start his own blog on behalf of a Disney show that he enjoys called, A Dog With A Blog.  When he approached me with the idea of a blog, I thought that it was a brilliant idea as it could be a way to help him document and sort his ideas, especially since his mind is swimming with zany creativity and wacky inventions pretty much 27/7. Being that his seven year old mind works faster than his fine motor skills and patients are willing to let him type, I will be typing his entries for now (all the while helping him understand the general boring rules of sequencing, sentence structure, and conventions).

Parakeet

In science there is a parakeet that I take care of. The name of the parakeet is Bluebell. I give it food and water. Not even the science teacher, Mrs. P, knew how to tell if the parakeet was a boy or a girl.

So, I found out from a parakeet book that I got from the library how to tell a boy from a girl parakeet. I told only a few people that I knew I could trust what I learned. I told Lil, Luke, Lea, Matt, and Sarah in a whispering voice, "The parakeet is a girl!"

But, I ended up not being able to trust Matt. He yelled out to everybody, "The parakeet it a girl!" He made me cry because I thought I could trust him with my secret.

The End
